As well we are the onlyaccredited Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu School in Welland.
Our training methodologies are results-oriented and proven to be successful. If you prefer not to compete that is fine. You can still earn your black belt and will have a great time in doing so as our techniques are on the cutting-edge since they are constantly tested in competition.
What is Combined Jiu-Jitsu?
Combined Jiu-Jitsu involves areas of what we now call Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Thai Kickboxing, Self-Defence and wrestling. It is an art that has also been known as shoot-fighting. It is a complete Martial art as the practitioner learns how to defend one-self in multiple situations.
At Modern Vision we have evolved this art possibly beyond its classification as we have replaced old Japanese Jiu-Jitsu grappling techniques with Brazilian, we are not bound by the rules of Judo, and Thai Kickboxing changes when one becomes aware of the dangerous nature
of Jiu-Jitsu.
