- Active competitor in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Purple Belt)
- Has been a key training and sparring partner for many current and pro MMA fighters
- Won the Phantom Fight Explosion IV Canada vs. USA MMA title by Coaching four of Canada's five representing fighters to Victory all in the first round. Canada won the title 5-0.
These techniques are consistenly proven successful in competition as Modern Vision (Ascension Welland) continues to find itself on the medal podium several times at all the grappling tournament they attend.
This coaching style has aided Team Ascension to Team Victories at 7 of the last 9 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournaments in Ontario as of January 28, 2010.
