Niagara's Modern Vision Makes it 9-0 in Mixed Martial Arts Competition "Animal" Andrew Cseh, and Matt "The Flash" DiMarcantonio travelled once again to Lima Ohio for Phantom Fight Explosion 7 "Fright Night" to improve their individual records to 2-0, and 3-0 respectively.
First up was "Animal" Andrew Cseh 1-0 vs. Step
han Oen 1-1
Round 1: Right after the bell both fighters quickly moved to the centre to exchange blows. Cseh landed a left hook which backed Oen up. Soon after Oen shot in and scored the takedown. Cseh quickly swept his opponent and began to work ground and pound.
They returned to their feet and it was Cseh this time who scored the takedown and resumed his renlentless ground and pound until the round ended.
Round 2: Cseh landed another hook early on which stumbled his opponent and Cseh scored another takedown. Let the ground and pound begin again as Cseh landed blow after blow knocking out Oen at 1:16 of round 2.
Matt "The Flash" DiMarcantonio 2-0 vs. Mason Staley 2-0
Round 1
Right off the opening bell Staley showed that he wanted this fight to be a wrestling match taking DiMarcantonio down but was unable to get a punch off as DiMarcantonio's Jiu-Jitsu was too tight for Staley to take a chance.
From this point Staley continued to attempt taking DiMarcantonio down but "The Flash" swallowed every attempt and controlled the fence while landing several viscious knees to Staley's mid Section.
Round 2
Much of the same except Staley doesn't score any of his takedown attempts while DiMarcantonio continued to control the fence and the clinch game. Knee after knee was landed to Staley's mid section.
Round 3
DiMarcantonio continues an excellent takedown defence but finally Staley scores the takedown. However, it was DiMarcantonio controlling the figh
t off of his back and nearly closing a Kimura mid way through the round.
As DiMarcantonio attempted a Triagle choke Staley managed to pass the guard. However, it wasn't long before "The Flash" pushed him back into the guard where the round ended.
DiMarcantonio wins a close technical battle against another young fighter with a very bright future in Staley by split decision.
Improving Vision's Mixed Martial Arts record to 9-0
