Downtown Beatdown II "The Beatings Continue"
Modern Vision/Ascension BJJ sent 2 of its young upcoming fighters to Pennsylvania to put their 1-0 records on the line against an upcoming fighter from New York City and one from Detroit Michigan.
Round 1
DiMarcantonio's explosive style was reveal just seconds into the first round when he knocked Lennox to the ground with a vicious body kick. Allowing Lennox to Stand-up DiMarcantonio went in for a sloppy takedown allowing Lennox to score. However, seconds later DiMarcantonio's superior Jiu-Jitsu game showed as he quickly swept Lennox and took mount, but again as a result of the rules in Pennsylvania was unable to ground and pound Lennox to the finish. Instead DiMarcantonio transitiioned to a triangle choke and nearly closed but Lennox fought it off to finish the round.
Round 2
Since ground and pound wouldn't finish the fight DiMarcantonio put on a show with more than five impressive takedowns lifting Lennox over his head scoring takedowns at will.
Round 3
The trend continued as DiMarcantonio easily dominated the fight scoring deadly kicks and every takedown he attempted.
Unanimous Decision: DiMarcantonio 2-0
Round 2
Attard again establishes dominance while standing and puts Nichols against the cage. A couple takedowns later and near rear naked choke Attard takes the 2nd round as well.
Round 3
Nichols begins to press the action but is hesitant to commit to his combinations as Attards punching power was showing physical signs on Nichols. The third round was a cat and mouse battle with Attard scoring another takedown and winning the fight by
Unanimous Decision: Attard 2-0

Eric "Atomic" Attard (Modern Vision / Ascension BJJ) vs. Corey Nichols
Right off the opening bell Attard lands a right that leaves Nichols reeling. Attard quickly takes it to the matt where he establishes a solid mount. However, since the rules in Pennsylvania don't allow head strikes on the ground, Attard was forced to transition position looking for submissions.Round 2
