Toronto, May 12th and 13th, Over one thousand Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitors from as far north as Quebec City to as far south as West Virginia and as far east as Thunder Bay travelled to Seneca College in Toronto to compete at the fifth annual Ontario Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open.

Thai Kickboxing & MMA Results - 2011-07-16
July 16, 2011, St. Catharines, "The Bully" Matt DiCenso, Dalton Brady and "Animal" Andrew Cseh were all in action July 16th with DiCenso and Brady in K1 battles in St. Catharines while "Animal" fought at "The Canadian Pro MMA Fighting Series" at the WCFU arena in Windsor.
DiCenso continued his fighting dominance as he easily disposed of his opponent in a three round battle forcing his opponent to chase him while DiCenso put on a speed clinic. His opponent just couldn't match DiCenso's rythm giving DiCenso the unanimous decision. Credit to both fighters as despite being dropped twice the opponent fought straight to the final bell.
Dalton Brady won a nail-biter split decision over a bigger and taller opponent. Brady struggled to avoid the taller opponents clinch but managed to score several times as he peeper his opponent to the body while clinched. It was a gritty fight where the decision could have gone either way. But it was Brady who got the nod from the Judges
July 16, 2011, Windsor Ontario, "Animal" Andrew Cseh was back at work in the cage against Brent Franczuz in a 135 lbs contest. Here is the Summary:
Round 1:
The round begins as Cseh quickly takes Franczuz to the mat. Cseh begings a guard passing assault as Franzuz struggles back to his feet just for Cseh to take him down again. Rinse repeat for the rest of the round.
Round 2:
Cseh circles Franczuz and lands serval combinations and nearly every punch he threw. Franczuz throws back but rarely connects as csehs elusive headmovement is always a step ahead. Midway through the round Franczuz lands a headkick that doesn't affect Cseh as Cseh counters immediately with a straight right and left uppercut.
With a minute left Cseh shots in and lifts franzuz only to slip allowing Franczuz top position. Cseh defends well as the round ends.
Round 3:
Franczuz lands a straight right that causes Cseh to slip to his back. cseh gets up immediately and attempts to take Franczuz to the mat. Franczuz reverses Cseh and begins a ground and pound. Cseh defends well but is caught on the bottom for 3 minutes.
with 2 minutes left Cseh gets to his feet and takes Franczuz to the mat. the ref stands tham up after 20 seconds and Cseh corners Franczuz then shoots and performs a bigh double leg slam. The fight ends with Cseh working a guard pass on Franczuz.
Decision, Split Franczuz ... iffy at best.
