Modern Vision Dominates MMA Expo - 2009-06-06

June 6-7 2009

We only sent 8 athletes to the two grappling tournaments held at this years Mixed Martial Arts Expo in Toronto  but we made an enormous splash.

We finished the weeked with a 19 win and 3 loss record and accumulated 7 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals and 1 Bronze Medal. Medal winners are as follows:

Andrew Cseh (Men's under 135 Int.) Gold in both gi and No-Gi
Joe Mellen (Men's under 175, beg) Gold in Gi, silver in No-Gi
Sean Cahill (Men's under 153 beg) Gold in Gi
Bobby Johnston (Men's under 182 beg) Gold in Gi
Kevin Johnston (Men's under 170, beg) Gold in Gi
Jordan McCrae (Youth heavyweight) Gold in Gi
Sierra Picton (Women's under 115) Silver in No-Gi)
Matt DiMarcantonio (Men's under 170) Silver in No-Gi
