An exciting weekend as Modern Vision took to the mats to defend Team Ascension's 2009 Ascension Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu championship. What a weekend it was as Modern Vision won an impressive 17 medals leading Team Ascension to and amazing 105-45 point victory over second place team Schilling.

This tournament also represented Modern Vision head instructor, Chris Bonfoco, return to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition as he took 2nd in the highly competitive 154 pound Men's Blue Belt division surround 0 points through 4 tough matches. other medallists were as follows:
